It's Tuesday! I have my follow-up appt from going to the ER a couple Sundays ago and then I made an appt for Kaity this afternoon since this cough is not improving any and I don't want HER to end up with pneumonia like I did. Hopefully I can still get some housework done in between. My choices were 5 minutes before my appointment this morning (not gonna work) or 2:45 so I had no choice but to take 2:45. I'll probably run a couple errands in between. I need to get some stuff from Sam's and also some liquid food coloring for the sugars on top of the king cake I'm baking Thursday.

Have an appt with the asst at the surgeon's office this morning. Nothing serious, just a "test", but need to meet with her, get the prep instructions, schedule the procedure, etc. Then, the movies with our friends (taking advantage of the "Senior" discount). Planning to see Just go with it. Hope it's funny! We may be going to a basketball game tonight, either HS girls or College Women. Not sure which option (if either) we will take.
Happy Tuesday everyone!

Hey there everyone - mostly lazy day here after a non-stop day yesterday! Only think on the radar - we have another pool company coming to give us an estimate. We are trying to get an idea for options and price and such. We would like to wait a while - but we can only have one built so long as there is no house behind ours, we only have 5 feet that are ours on either side of the house (10 total including what belongs to the neighbors) BUT we have our AC unit on one side, and the neighbors on the other side - making it fairly narrow for machinery to get though. It may be a year or two before they put a house behind ours - but they started building one on one of the empty lots on our block last week - so it made us decide to at least get estimates, ideas on financing, etc. We'll see where we go from here.
Jenn - I hope you get good news for you and Kaity at the Dr's today.
Carol - hope all goes well!
Everyone else - have a terrific Tuesday!!

Well, today turned into hectic craziness. It took a bit longer than expected to get Kaity ready and then we caught every blessed light on the way (just MISSED getting stuck on base while the National Anthem played as you are supposed to stop and sit respectfully until it's over). Got to the clinic at exactly 10 minutes past my 8:20 appt and got labelled as a NO SHOW. They told me to come back at noon, so I ran errands until then and got to the clinic about 20 til. Got seen after a bit of a wait since they now classified me as a WALK IN. I got a new script for Mucinex-D and am supposed to get a new chest X-ray in mid-April. Got lunch and ran some more errands then went to Kaity's appt at 2:45. Her lungs are clear and everything is normal, so just need to keep an eye on her and watch for certain symptoms, which if they show up, then go to the ER with her. Well, came home to a voice mail from the Sgt working at the Familiy Health Clinic from 8:51 AM telling me I wasn't supposed to have left the clinic and to please come back. ARGH! How about calling my CELL PHONE for something like that? Well, the good news is Kaity got a good report.

Oh Jen. I can relate with the dr's- I've been 5 minutes late and told to come back- they're so picky- but then you still wait past time when you're on time! Work is crazy, as our jewelry manager quit abruptly last week- I'm actually glad because they were probably going to fire him soon anyway- but that just means even more work than usual for me till they find a replacement. Good news though- Jared has his crossover ceremony last night into Boy Scouts and will attend his first meeting tonight with Taylor. And Taylor's Scoutmaster told him last night that he's received all his letters of recommendation for Eagle, so Taylor will bring his application to get signed tonight, and he spoke to the committee chairman who will be working to arrange a Board of Review! Woo hoo! Can you tell I'm proud?
