Can I just vent for a minute?
I'm so super annoyed right now. Today is 180 days til check-in, I got up at 6am to book and I could not get Coral Reef or Le Cellier for lunch OR dinner the entire week! Seriously? I've been trying to get into Le Cellier for the last 4 years and have had zero luck! I just don't get how it's possible that even 180+7 out I can't get in! And Coral Reef!!! The last two years I haven't been able to get in either. When did it become so popular? It's not like we are going Christmas week or Easter. It's the first week in December! It makes me want to write Disney and complain. Oh well. Vent over, thanks for "listening".

We've gotten blocked out of 'Ohana before at 180 days from check-in. My mom and I just kept checking availability the entire week online for any time that wasn't too late for us. Hopefully something will open up for you. If not, I know sometimes, not often, but sometimes, you can check at the podium first thing and snag a table without a ressie. It's rare, but it can happen.
Coral Reef really surprises me, though. I didn't know it was that popular.

I'd keep randomly trying too, but don't get too discouraged. People change plans a lot when it gets closer to the actual date, and you may get lucky the day of. Maybe pick some more fun places that the kids would enjoy- believe me, before you know it they'll be wanting to go to the more "grown up" places. Last trip we didn't do any character meals, and I figured ok, if that's what the kids want. Plus I figure it opens spots up for families with kids who may be on a once in a lifetime trip. Good luck!

LeCellier doesn't surprise me, but Coral Reef really does. We found a ton of availabilty for it for our upcoming trip. It almost makes me wonder if it's going to be refurbished or something.

We got 'Ohana and could have gotten CRT but can't afford to prepay and have them hold my money interest free for 6 months (we'll be on the DDP).
I've heard thy the issue is they are holding the tables to do CP packages. Maybe we'll get on one of those. Do any of you know if you have to prepay those or is it just a CC hold?

Oh gosh, I am trying to remember. I *think* it is just a credit card hold, but let me double check to be sure. Looks like it is credit card hold. CRT is pre-pay now?

Yes! They wanted full payment when I was booked. If its available when we get closer I'll book it, of not oh well. It is pricey, especially 4 adults and a child to pay for (Diego would still be free). I understand a CC hold or even a deposit, but full payment 6 months in advance. I can't swing that right now.

Funny story about Le Cellier. Our first trip to Disney in 2000, we didn't know about dinning reseravtions, so it's our 2nd or 3rd night there and we were in Epcot and saw Le Cellier menu and liked it. We walk up and asked when the next avaiable seating would be, they said 8 pm. We thought great, because it was already 7:30pm,. But then he continued "8pm tomorrow night." We just looked at each other and said no thank you.
About the Coral reef, we have never eaten there, but I over heard a couple the other day at CBR talking about it. They said it was the worst menu they have seen. I have not really looked at the menu recently, but we were planning on going last year.
