Cancelled June trip - but scheduled again

finally got vacations worked out for the next 6 months. i got my birthday week. after checking the airfare i had to adjust days. hopefully it will work out... so far i am arriving at WDW PoP Century on July 2 (mon) and staying until July 11 (wed). all the time at Pop. cant swing hopping to WL. rates and air for this week are thru the roof.
9 nights at Pop Century adn 10 day pass is $1889 I think it was
and i dont have my air yet. crazy rates but it is also a holiday week...just my luck... so just waiting for a discount that could help. air seemed cheapest also going on a monday and coming home on wed. just keeping my fingers crossed i could swing it. with budget cuts and all we dont have overtime anymore and that would help a lot.

I'm glad you were able to reschedule. It looks like I won't get to go again until 2012. Boo! I'll keep my fingers crossed for a discount for you!

for years we had tons of overtime to make sure the work hit its deadlines got lots of o.t. that paid for lots of trips...now..more work and less people due to retirement...and people who may have stayed a few more years are leaving sooner because of the stress of mgmt wanting the deadlines done...start this..no ..stop and do that...no this has priority...why wasnt the first thing done yet..
and with the federal freeze there has been no hiring for about 5 yrs... and no movement up either...a supervisor retired...instead of upgrading someone, they took the 22 people and split them up and put in other units...so ..more work for supervisors... grrr oh well....just hoping i can swing the trip...if i must i can always knock off a day or two
