I know must of you know from Facebook that I'm having a difficult time with recovery. (Woo hoo, I have another doctor appointment today. I wish that meant I'd be better by then.) I'm also on a fair amount of pain pills and an occasional sleeping pill. Well, last night or rather this morning I had a dream about being in Disney World. I was walking around with Slushie, from whom knows where. When all of a sudden I was walking with Walt. We were talking and I told him that I love coming to his dream because the people are always so freindly. At one point my Slushie is gone and I stop to order another. The line was very long, so Walt decides to take the matter under control. He walks around and starts making my Slushie. WALT DISNEY WAS MAKING MY SLUSHIE!! I was so excited I turned to the guy behind me and said, "Do you see that? Walt Disney is making my Slushie!" When I turned around it was just some random guy making my Slushie. But for a moment there I was on cloud 9. I only got to see Walt on TV and I was an adult before I ever got to go to Disney World. Yes, this dream was probably brought to you by Ambien and some other nice meds. But there for a moment, not only was I in my happy place I was with the man who built it. Now if only my waking moments would be this good. LOL

Kim, I'm so sorry you are still having a hard time with your recovery. I love your dream. Perhaps it is a sign of good news to come.

You know I pray that that nasty pain goes away. Hmm maybe your dream means that it will soon be under control and you need to plan a trip.

That sounds like a great dream! Coincidentally, I just read an article that basically said your dreams are your mind's way of assessing what's going on in your life, prioritizing, and can help you to solve your problems. I take that to mean that your going to be feeling better soon- so good, in fact, that a Disney trip needs to be planned! Or that to help you in your recovery, a trip to WDW may be in order. I do pray that you continue to heal and stay strong.

What a great dream! I'm thinking Walt made you a magical, healing slushie to help get you back on track and ready for your next journey to his dream World! Before you know it you will be all better and dashing on down to your Happy Place!

thanks guys. I'm still not working and as I told Ken recently I'm not getting better, I'm getting worse. At this point the pain specialist is confused as what to do. One of my bff's, nurse Kristine for those of you who can see my wall on FB, says I need to get an MRI. I need to find the number to the nurse with the insurance company and speak with her. I'm not sure how much longer I can actually be on FMLA. HR is in India and as usual they know nothing.
