who works out a day by day schedule for wdw trips... i spent hours yesterday trying to get the most out of what was supposed to be a slow and relaxing trip. biggest decision is where to go the first day... i should arrive at Pop around 3pm... and after i drop off my stuff, where to go... MK is my fav but dont want to go for just a few hrs.... and if i go to Disney studios and at least do R&R coaster, tower of terror, Beauty and the beast show and Fantasmic, then the next time i go to studios i will have the best stuff done.. oh boy... decsions decsions decsions... have a few dining ressies done but trying to figure out if i want to swap days around... then i had to write it all down...so i dont forget

I have a loose schedule every day. I plan which park we are going to and which TS we will eat at. I also know which fast passes I want to get first (like TSM at DHS) so that we get to do all the rides we want to.
Otherwise, we are pretty flexible. If we don't ride everything, we don't worry about it. If the girls want to play at the playground or sit on a bench for a while, we will do it. If we get tired, we cut the day short and go back to the room.

We plan what park and any ADRs but that's it. I like to go with the flow because things happen beyond your control.

We plan what park and any ADRs but that's it. I like to go with the flow because things happen beyond your control. I do the same... usually plan the park(s) based on EMH if staying on property, and make ADR's. But once we're there, even those plans become flexible, because sometimes we just want to do something that wasn't in the original plan. Early on in my Disney traveling, I used to try to plan out everything, but it got stressful and impractical, and I felt like I wasn't enjoying the trip "in the moment."
