Hi everyone - I have a message to pass along to you from SkipperKim....Please be aware that Kim does NOT want you to post anything about this on her FB Wall - but to please feel free to send her a "private" FB message....... She asked me to tell you that her test results came back today and she does have cancer. My thoughts and prayers are with her as I'm sure are yours. I feel badly because she asked me to do this this afternoon and I was working a 14 1/2 hour day at the polls and didn't get the message until tonight. I'm sure she can use our support right about now.

Thanks Billie for posting this. I couldn't find the url on my phone yesterday and just wanted to keep you all in the loop. I do plan to let you all know through here how I'm doing. Mostly because if my parents found out they'd want to come up and I'd worry more about them than my own health. My Mom can't do stairs and my Dad is 81. Also, I'm going to put a post on FB that it came back benign which is not true because I do have other family members on FB and if they knew my parents would too.

I am so sorry, Kim. You are for you and sending tons of pixie dust. I am not on FB, but I am here if you need to talk or scream.

You are just such a wonderful loving thoughtful daughter....putting your parents health and welll-being before yours....I know you should have support of your friends and family right now so you must be an amazingly strong lady. Please let me know if I can do anything for you to help you thru this. ((hugs))

Thanks all. I did decide to inform my parents after speaking with my brother. They took it a lot better than I thought they would. My parents need to stay close to where they live as my Mother's health has been very bad these past few years.
Some of you know, all of you on FB anyway, 3/22-3/28 was a rough time frame for me. I was diagnosed with a hemorrhagic ovarian cyst, then the abnormal mammogram, next was the 3 day stay in the hospital from a violent episode of vertigo.

I'm glad your parents took it so well - I know that had to make you feel at least a bit better. And not having to keep this kind of a secret from them is also going to be helpful to you.

Praying for you. I know how horrible to hear the diagnosis, and though it was a different form, I'm 8 years past my diagnosis. There is hope and I know you'll be fine. I'll be praying lots.
