We're thinking about trying this one out. How is it, if you've eaten here?

We love Teppan Edo. It's a family favorite. We took friends there in January and they liked it so much they are going back in March with their son and his girlfriend.
They have cut back on their menu since we first started going there 15 years ago, but we still enjoy the food and the "show."
You are seated at a table for 8, so if your party is less than 8, you will be seated with others. The chef prepares your food right in front of you on the grill. I will look for some pics from our trip last year. Very fun and good for Kaity, too.

Actually, Susan, Teppan Edo is the Hibachi Style Japanese restaurant. The "sushi" side is called Tokoyo Dining. They have more the sushi and tempora menu options. You can get sushi as an appetizer at Teppan Edo, but the rest of the food is prepared on the grill.
I would recommend ressies for either "side". Check in for both is at the same counter, on the second floor of the main pavillion (there is an elevator). It always seems busy to me. Walk ups might be an option, but that will depend on the crowds.

Love Teppan Edo! We've probably eaten here at least 5 times in the last 2 years. Really enjoyed 4 out of 5 Chef's. The one was a little too quiet and not really into the show - but the food was great! Enough variety to make it a must do at least once.

We've never been because there is a local hibachi place we love, and I like to have stuff at WDW we can't get at home. They do look great though. Great pictures Carol!

I liked it, but I don't find it to be much different than any of the other hibachi places in my area so it's generally one that I skip. The food is good, though, and the atmosphere is fun.

We don't have the type of restaurant near us, which is why it's special to us. We went to a similar restaurant off property one time )Kobe) and it was very similar and a bit less money. Very good as well.
