We decided to take a short trip. Going Feb. 12-15; corndogs at Boardwalk Sunday evening; lunch at Yak & Yeti Monday; Soarin' FP Tuesday morning; lunch at Teppan Edo Tuesday afternoon; breakfast at Olivia's Wednesday morning and back home. Absolutely impossible to get ressies for dinner at B.O.G or FP at Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. Might have to keep trying and sneak off for a few days in April.

How fun to be able to do a quick trip! Where are y'all staying? You should do another trip in April too. If it coincides with when we're going I'd love to meet up with you two! Good luck on getting those fp's and adr's.

How fun to be able to do a quick trip! Where are y'all staying? You should do another trip in April too. If it coincides with when we're going I'd love to meet up with you two! Good luck on getting those fp's and adr's. We are staying at our timeshare. Couldn't get the Disney resort we wanted, and the timeshare is cheaper anyway ($179.00 for three nights). DW wants to go to Huntsville, AL (for the Marshall Spaceflight Center and Museum), Chattanooga (for the aquarium) and Helen, GA (just because we've never been there) in April. Don't know if we can squeeze in a Disney trip that month (I would much rather go to WDW, and would love to meet up with you and your family). We are able to do the quick trips now because our beloved fur baby (Bentley) passed away on December 6. We always had a relative come stay with him while we were gone, and our trips depended on when she could be here. It's been two months and I miss him so much. He was badly abused when we got him and we had him for 13 1/2 years. He was a real sweetheart. I think I would stay home for the rest of my life if we could just have him back. BTW, made some changes - now we have FPs for Living With the Land and Soarin' on Monday morning, and dinner at Cape May Café at Beach Club Monday evening; Yak & Yeti for lunch on Tuesday. Had to make some changes to get the fast passes we wanted. May make some more dining ressies before we go.

I'm so sorry about your furry friend's passing! Our oldest passed a year ago and she was just shy of turning 15. It's still tough on all of us. Our younger dog lost weight when we had her at the kennel in March when we went to WDW- we think she was lonely without her buddy. She also figured out how to open the outside yard gates and almost got loose when she stayed for a few days in Nov. when we went to Texas for our niece's baptism, then she almost hung herself trying to get out this last time we left her to go visit Taylor for a few days in Dec. The kennel feels as we do that's it's a liability to keep her so from now on we'll have to take her on trips. For other places we can do pet friendly hotels but at WDW I'll have to look into Best Friends.
The AL, TN, and GA trips sound cool too! I would definitely fit those in. Ron and I just did our first "just the two of us" trip to Biltmore Estate in Jan. for our anniversary and it was amazing. If y'all have never been I would highly suggest it. We look forward to doing little trips like this a couple times a year eventually.
