Sydney, you must have been single-digit dancing for a few days now. Hope you have a great time! Supposed to be pretty nice weather while you're there except for rain a couple of days. But that's why they have Mickey ponchos. If you're going to get wet, there's no better place to be wet than at Disney.

Thanks Dave! Yea, Ron and I have been SDD, Jared- not so much! He fractured his ankle last Tuesday at Boy Scouts. They were running around playing capture the flag and he jumped and landed on his ankle wrong. Friday he went to an ortho. dr. who put him in a cast and then wants to check him again this Friday before we leave again- Ron took him to the appointment and somehow communicated to the dr. without Jared knowing. He's pretty bummed about being in a cast again after being in one last year around the same time for his elbow, but he's trying to do everything himself so we're proud of him. I know when he finds out about our trip on Friday it'll cheer him up! Four more days...

You can get one much cheaper from Apple Scooter (they have a website for the Kissimmee store). They will bring the scooter to your resort and pick it up from your resort at no extra charge. We have used them many times for DW and have always been satisfied. We paid a little more for one week than the Disney carts cost for one day. The cart can be disassembled and put in the trunk of your car and they fit on the Disney busses and boats. I hope Jared doesn't need it but they are available.

Too get an EVC at Disney you have too be over 18, I think same with other companies. Wheelchair and if doesn't want too do that get a guest assistance pass. I'm sorry that happened too him and hope news from Dr. is good It seems like just the other day you started planning your trip. Can't believe it's almost here.

Oooh, I didn't know that about the scooters Cheryl! Dave- we actually went ahead and rented one from Apple after comparing with other companies so I'm glad to hear you've had good experiences with them. I could see them not renting one to under 18 by themselves, but with two parents being with him at all times, it's not like he's going to do something crazy. I mean, he's old enough to drive a car, so...
Hopefully no one id's him, but I really can't see me pushing him around all day with my foot still healing from my surgery in Oct. and Ron has a permanent limp and pain from his ankle and knee surgeries so that would be tough on him too. Cross your fingers that everything works out for us!
3 more days!

Have a safe and wonderful trip!

You might still want too look into a GAP if either you or DH can't wait in long lines. The scooter will help on some rides but most now accomadate a scooter. It's no fun walking in pain. Tell me he isn't old enough too drive already!
