Sounds like it's going to be a fun vacation. Looking forward to your post trip report and pictures. Thanks! I know it sounds like I'm packing a lot in too, but I usually end up planning stuff, and then just kinda going with the flow once we get there. Don't worry, I'll be taking lots of pictures- hopefully not to the point of being annoying though I do hope to do a good dining review since we'll be trying all new places this time.

Sounds like a fun trip Sydney! Have you made any additional plans recently? No additional plans- I'm still waiting till I can go online and purchase tickets for the Astros game. The site says they go on sale Jan. 30, but we get their fan emails, so I'm hoping they will do a pre-sale deal or something.
I did receive our Disney Visa rewards card a couple days ago, and applied that to our resort reservation so now that's paid off! I am also going to buy a bunch of Disney gift cards today. I put the cash in the checking account so I can purchase them on the Visa card and earn points, then pay it off. I figured out an estimate of how much we'll spend on food, taking out the four places that offer a discount when using your Visa rewards card because we'll just use that. I'm going to get $50 and $25 gift cards to use for food while we are there. We'll also carry cash to use for tips. I just like the feeling of knowing things are paid off in advance!
Our magic bands should arrive sometime after Feb. 3rd since that's the last day to customize them. I still plan to keep this trip a secret from Jared as long as possible. I'll be painting the bands little by little then hiding them in a cabinet in the garage (Ron already made room) in between days. I somehow have to sneakily figure out if his swimsuit from last year still fits or if I need to get him a new one (we are already getting them in at JCPenney where I work). He has a Hollister gift card he got for Christmas and I plan to take him to use it either this weekend or next- I'll just have to hint that he should use it on Spring stuff! I also need to pick up a camera that we can use at Blizzard Beach.

That sounds like what DW and I do. Make a ton of plans and then just "go with the flow" when we get there. But we still have fun and get to do all the stuff we want to. And, there is no such thing as an "annoying picture" when Disney is involved. They're all good.

Wow it's getting so close now. You could always tell him your planning a trip too the beach and does his swim suite fit or just get him a new one. I can't wait too read all about your first three person trip. Did Taylor have a good time in Dec.?

I can't wait too read all about your first three person trip. Did Taylor have a good time in Dec.? Good idea Cheryl! He did just look at the merit badge list for summer camp and said he wants to do kayaking, so I could tie it in to that.
Taylor and his GF had an awesome time on their trip in Dec. They said the crowds weren't bad and the weather was great too. I also just found out she may be there again sometime during our trip! The mom of girl she nanny's for in the summer has to speak at a conference in Orlando and is thinking about having her come so she can take their 11yo daughter to Disney during the day. Coincidentally it just happens to fall when she's home on Spring Break. She's supposed to find out details today and get back to me.
In other news I was able to purchase our Astros baseball tickets yesterday during their one day pre-sale. We got great seats too. 35 days left before we go to WDW!!!

Talk about great timing for both the suit and her a Spring break. It would be nice to meet up with her for a bit. Thirty- five days, is that a Spring break?

We got an email yesterday that our magic bands are on their way! I'm off work Monday and Tuesday and hopefully can intercept them if they come then before Jared sees them. Then I'll have to get to work decorating them.
I'm also waiting for the menus to come out for the Flower and Garden Festival kiosks. Ron and I were looking at the menus from last year the other day and we're thinking we may cancel our Biergarten adr so we can snack around Epoct that day.28 more days!

Well, I went ahead and cancelled our Biergarten adr in favor of snacking around Epcot and getting cs if we want. When Ron and I talked about this he sounded more interested in that than a ts, even though he likes German food. I think we'll save trying it for another time, since who knows if we'll ever visit for F&G again. I also changed a couple other food plans. For breakfast on our Epcot day we'll eat at Sunshine Seasons- maybe we'll even get to the park early enough for opening. We're still going to eat at Contempo Café, but for lunch on our down day. That way we'll have more time to check out the resort, and we'll save Beaches & Cream for when Taylor can come with us.

We have snacked our way around Epcot at the F&W and F&G festivals, and the food is really good. We probably spent more doing that than we would have at a TS restaurant, but it was worth it just for the experience. It sounds like you have a good plan. We haven't eaten at the Contempo Café. Please let us know how it is.

More updates to share!
I was able to book our adr for Sun. night at House of Blues for 6:45pm. This will be perfect since we'll be at the baseball game in the afternoon and then plan on enjoying time at Disney Quest- which is right across the "street" at DS.
I also noticed that the menus are out for Flower and Garden kiosks so I've made a list of things we probably want to try from each booth.
I've been sneaking in time each day between when I get home from work and when Jared gets home from school and I finished painting our magic bands. They're not perfect (especially noticeable with the big, super-zoomed pictures) but I had a lot of fun doing them and it will just be that extra touch to make our trip special. Ron has seen them and loves them. We plan on leaving Jared's band, along with his suitcase and pin lanyard, on his bed on Friday the day before we leave to surprise him.
The band's theme is really Jared's idea. After the last trip he said he wanted to stay at POFQ next time. We were trying for 2014 and when I had found out about decorating them he suggested the Princess and the Frog theme (Taylor would have been Louis since he plays trumpet). So I went with his ideas. Ron's is Naveen as a frog with his crown and guitar and Ray. Mine is Tiana and a plate of her beignets and Mama Odie. Jared's is Dr. Facilier with his shadows, amulet, and cards. I used acrylic paint and then acrylic paint spray sealer.

Sydney, those are great (must be nice to have talent). And what a great surprise for Jared. Your trip is really close now, isn't it?
