Starting to do this, as late as it is, and it will probably take forever. Going to work on it on breaks. Ok the trip started off with me (susanm) my aunt bj and her best friend ellen ( a friend of my aunts for over 50 yrs and like an aunt to me, both of them in their late 70's). it was my 30th trip and my aunt and her friend have spent a few hrs each at the Mk while passing thru but really saw nothing....many years ago. so after many changes we left Wilkes Barre Pa at 6am and with a quick change over in Charlotte and with Disney Magical Express we arrived at Pop Century before 12 noon. we originally had a 14 day package with 5 day park tickets....since my aunts didnt decide how long they were staying until they actually got their airline tix. so when we checked in both aunts upgraded from 5 day to 10 day it was only about $40 more for them... while we were in line for our room, my aunts friend realized she lost one of her hearing aids, somewhere between the airplane and the hotel....(never found it, but it was one of those really tiny ones so i guess no one ever found it) .we got our refill mugs, found our room, in the TRAMP section of the LADY AND THE TRAMP section, first floor and facing the pool. we were only in the room about 15 minutes and our luggage showed up and before we unpacked, our delivery from the Garden Grocer showed up. so we unpacked and found a place to put everything then we took off for Downtown Disney. I had to get my ticket upgraded to an annual pass yet. we got to DTD, and got our first pictures taken for the Memory Maker package, found the guest services, upgraded my ticket, then shopped some. we had something to eat, late lunch or early dinner at Earl of Sandwich. everyone had the reuben sandwich and it was great. we were able to use our first counter meal credits there. a little more shopping then back to pop for an early evening. my poor aunts were tired, and tomorrow was our first day at the MK and they had no idea what they were in for.

ok Sunday morning morning we went to Epcot first thing and headed for our 905a fast passes for soarin'. walked right on then stopped for breakfast at the Sunshine Seasons restaurant. we did the living with the land ride, and the circle of life video, and then headed over to the Food & Wine Festival headquarters ( i think it is the old horizons bldg). bought some stuff there of course and had it sent right home, we got the F&W festival passports and by now it is just about 11am so we went over to World Showcase and started in Mexico. My aunts friend had a dessert from the Austrailia kiosk (a custard and berries in a shell ) and i had the lamb chops (super) and a pale ale (actually a beer i liked) and my aunts had wine.. we walked over to norway and got to ride the Maelstrom on the last day. in between my aunt was calling the lost & found number a CM gave her the night before to see if they found her cane. In Norway i found an adorable Anna doll i bought and sent to my great niece and this is when i must have left my walled (cash, debit card, gift cards etc all in it) and off we went to China. I went to buy a zen garden and then realized i dont have my wallet. left my aunts and told them to go thru the temple while i went back to norway. the cm said a wallet was sent to the lost and found...out by epcot...so i started running...as fast as i can run...and called my aunt and told her to just hang in china until i got back..but by this time she said they found her cane and she had to go to the lost and found at the ticket & transp. center so they were taking the monorail over and would call me later. so i got my wallet..(special thanks to the AMAZING CM IN NORWAY) so i stopped, got a snack and drink and sat on a bench until i chilled out. then i walked thru mouse gears, bought some stuff and just looked, then went to the animation store on the other side of epcot. there i found a beautiful lady & the tramp eating spaghetti figurine (lenox) so i had that sent home. now my aunt called and said her friend was super tired and didnt feel well so she was taking her back to the room and would meet up with me. it was now about 5pm and i figured we might as well just call it quits, thankful her cane and my wallet were found, so i told them to stay put, i would head back and then we could go to Art of Animation (the bridge was just around the back of our bldg at Pop) for dinner. by the time i got back to the room and we got to AoA for dinner, then back to the room it was after 9pm. enough for their 2nd full day

Monday morning we had breakfast at our resort. after breakfast my aunts friend did not feel well at all so she decided to stay at the resort.. I felt bad leaving her behind but her feet hurt, the heat got to her, and she was just worn out, walking so much. we were planning to do the AK that day but since we only planned one AK day and i didnt want ellen to miss the shows there, we switched to studios. my aunt and i headed over and did shows. we got a fast pass for TSM for 10am so we did the little mermaid and walt one mans dream and went to TSM. Now my aunt thought since it was a day with lots of sitting down, ellen should have come..oh well...we have another day. we walked back to the Muppets and it was only about 11a and i was starving .. so we went to Pizza Planet and split a meal (pizza salad drink and cupcake) we were only going to get the pizza and soda and i was in line and kids in front of me were raving about the cappucino (sp?) cupcake so i got the meal and cupcake wow are they good. back to do 130p Lights motor action show and back to muppets. killing time walking around and shopping until our late lunch at 50's prime time... i had the fried chicken and my aunt had the chicken pot pie. i had to have the sprite w/cherry syrup so i could get the light up ice cube (what a baby i am) and my aunt had a milk shake...said it was the best she has had in years. went on the great movie ride, had a little wait but didnt matter since we were staying for fantasmic.. of course i had to shop some more and got a nice watch. back to the room was about 10pm.

tuesday to give ellen and my aunt a rest we took a NO PARK DAY. slept a little later, then went over to the poly for breakfast (TONGA TOAST YAAA) and they loved it. here i messed up.. i thought to break it up we would take the boat to the MK then a bus to DTD but the boats were really really slow...so after waiting 30 min or so and still no boat we went and took the bus...duh...dont know what i was thinking...got on the bus to saratoga springs then had to wait for a bus to DTD ..MAJOR SCREW UP HERE... then we walked around DTD and got a taxi behind Basin, to the outlet mall. i got the watch adjusted here at Kay jeweler, just the band was too big and links had to be taken out...and of course we found lots of stuff at the disney outlet.. i got Haunted Mansion ghost ornaments (set of 5 heads for $4.99) and a beautiful PETER PAN (ON THE SHIP) water globe...it lights up, plays music and peter pan flies around in the globe. and it was only $48 had it all shipped so i dont have to carry it... stopped at Basin on the way back and we were still in the room by 4pm. took a rest then ate dinner at Pop that night

Wednesday we had breakfast at the resort and off to the MK again. didnt rush this morning since we already did the opening ceremonies but wer there by 930am anyway. headed toward tomorrowland and workd around, since my aunts loved TSM I knew buzz lightyear would be a hit...then stitch, monsters inc, peter pan, caught the castle forfront show, did the carousel and then went to sleepy hollow for the root beer floats..they are great...did hall of presidents again and over to the haunted mansion.. then thru to fantasyland and went to Be Our Guest for (my) long awaited dinner. had a hard time getting the ressie ... started on my 180 days out...for saturday (nothing) Sunday (nothing) monday (nope) tuesday (nada) finally got one for Wednesday. HURRAY... we got the Ballroom. our waiter was extra ordinary. very friendly and he told us he was a 19 year CM. first he explained the restaurant and we got the menus/ i was in a mood to play around since i waited so long for this so when he asked what we would like to order to drink ..i said THE GREY STUFF.. he said that is dessert...so i ordered a beer and the salad trio....not a salad person but that was fantastic..my aunts got a bottle of wine (yuk) and the french onion soup.so when he asked what we wanted for the entree i said THE GREY STUFF...he said ..nope thats dessert.. my aunts ordered the salmon and i ordered the lamb... while we were waiting...here comes our waiter with a birthday card from mickey minnie belle and beast and a dish of THE GREY STUFFwith a birthday candle and the grey stuff had mickey sprinkles on it....we were laughing so hard...i told him it wasnt my birthday...but his answer was...can you guess it? ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN AT DISNEY WORLD... so of course i could not wait until after my dinner to eat it ..but i was polite and shared with my aunts.. dinner came and it was fantastic... we were so stuffed by the time we were done... when the waiter did a check on our table and asked how it was...again i have to play around. i knew the side dish was not mashed potatoes but i could not remember what it was.... so i said THE FOOD IS AMAZING...BUT THE POTATOES TASTE A LITTLE DIFFERENT...IS IT THE PIXIE DUST... almost caught him off guard but he said...maybe thats because it isnt potatoes it was buttered celery root. i never had it before but it was delicious. so we are done and he comes over with napkins and pens and gives one of each to me and one for the table next to us... a larger group...looked like it could have been grandparents, 2 sets of parents and about 5 very well behaved children. and he tells us...between disney & pixar there are 19 movies with one word titles... go for it... he gave us a head start with one answer...duh FROZEN... both tables came up with 18 including frozen..not bad.. now time for dessert and here comes the trolley cart...heaven on wheels...so many choices...but we all went with the grey stuff again of course...so yummy... our ressie was 4pm and it was now after 6p when we started to leave...in between THE MASTER walked thru the rooms and waved...no autographs or pix...just waved... BUT.. on the way out you can go thru the library and have a pix taken with him...great photographers ..no rushing and beast too time with everyone...especially a little girl ahead of us who might have been slightly afraid of his size. now we are back it the park...did the carousel, saw mickeys philharmagic and by now dinner settled in so we headed back for the night....SO FAR THE BEST DAY...but better days ahead..
