For our next trip, which will hopefully still be in Jan. 2015, we'll be staying at POFQ. This will be a new resort for us, but I'd also like to throw in something else different- we're going to pay oop and try all new dining locations (with the exception of our resort cs, but we've only done that for lunch and dinner).
We've done the ddp for years and I've always figured out how to share and maximize our eating. When younger DS did a project and figured out how much eating oop would cost vs. ddp he came to the conclusion that we could eat more flexibly and still stay under budget even eating what we'd want. DH is a little skeptical because he thinks we'll tend to "cheap out" and order what's less expensive vs. what we'd really want to eat.
After pouring over menus I think I've narrowed it down and I made adr's. I'd love any opinions!
Sun: bf @ home
lunch on road
dinner @ Paradiso 37
maybe Disney Quest
Mon: DHS/Epcot
bf @ Sassagoula
lunch @ Brown Derby
dinner @ Studio Catering Co. or Epcot country cs if we hop after 6pm DHS closing
Tues: down day- mini golf and DisneyQuest
bf @ Trail's End
lunch @ Beaches & Cream
dinner @ House of Blues
Wed: MK
bf @ Contempo Cafe
lunch @ Sleepy Hollow
snack @ Gaston's
dinner @ Lunching Pad
Thur: down day- mini golf (if no DQ Sun. night) & Disney Quest
bf @ Grand Floridian Cafe
lunch @ Cookes of Dublin
dinner @ Maya Grill
Fri: AK/Epcot
bf @ Pizzafari
lunch @ Flame Tree
dinner at Epcot Country cs (any suggestions? we've done Mexico & Morrocco, but have done F&W the last three trips)
Sat: Epcot/MK
bf @ Captain Cook's
lunch @ Electric Umbrella
dinner @ Pinocchio Village
Sun: departure day
bf @ Sassagoula
lunch @ ESPN Club
dinner on road
I budgeted in for other snacks so if anyone has suggestions- fire away! I also like the idea of trying a meal to split here and there in the Epcot WS- kinda like eating around the worls- and we'll be there for possibly two dinners. Anyy suggestions are welcome! Thanks!
