We will be getting season passes and going to WDW this coming year starting in December. Our first park will be EPCOT to the Candlelight Story Event they have.
I have 2 different types of arthritis and a few other issues. My knees hurt when I walk a lot for long periods of time. I have carried a cane before when we would go to the parks in years past. I recently purchased an adult walker with wheels/breaks/seat.
My question is will they let you use this while in the lines or do you have to park it like the strollers in stroller parking? Also, when we go to the Candlelight Story Event at Epcot are there stairs you have to climb or will there be handicapped seating? TIA

I know there is handicapped seating at the theatre the Candlelight Processional is held in. As far as the walkers...I don't have definitive information one way or the other, but I would think IF you can't bring it through the regular line you could take it through the handicapped line. I can't see them making you park it like a stroller.

My DH had ankle surgery shortly before our 2010 trip and he had a boot on his foot, so we rented him an ecv. I just asked him to confirm what I remembered, but we both think he could go through most of the lines with it and a CM would take it to the exit, then some rides there were separate handicapped entrances. One I remember was Haunted Mansion becuase we didn't get to go through the new que. I think they would do the same for you.

You should be able to take it in the line with you! If waking gets to be too much, do consider getting a wheelchair or renting an ECV so you don't suffer needlessly. You walk so much at WDW that it can aggravate existing issues.
