:)
I would love to hear information about Port Orlean Riverside Resort. We are staying here at the end of the month.

Are you staying in the Magnolia Bend or the Alligator Bayou section of it? The former is fancier and the latter is more rustic. It's a great resort!

I've stayed there a couple of times. It's a great resort! I love that you can catch a boat to Downtown Disney - it's such a nice, peaceful ride. The resort itself is beautifully landscaped and has such a calm, peaceful vibe to it which is nice after a crazy day at the parks.
We have only stayed in the Magnolia Bend section. I love the look and feel of them, and I think the walk to the main buildings aren't bad at all.
The main pool is nice, and my kids love it. They also do a movie under the stars every night and have fun activities during the day. I think the resort is a really nice resort for the family - lots to do for kids, but laidback and restful for adults.
Anyway, let us know if you have any specific questions!

I don't know where we will be staying at the resort. I can't wait though.

We love it! It's our first choice for a resort if we don't camp.

How is the transportation at Riverside? Everyone says it shares buses with the French Quarter, but when we stayed at the French Quarter none of the buses we where on went to Riverside.

Check out this unofficial site: www.portorleans.org/Tons of great info., pictures, and there's a link to a discussion forum just for the Port Orleans resorts where you can ask really specific questions. We plan to stay at POFQ our next trip but may switch to POR depending on availability of discounts. After visiting they both seem so nice!
