Day 7 was our last full day in the parks. We started off in Animal Kingdom where Grandma and kids hopped on the safari (since Grandma hadn’t done it with us earlier in the week) while Joshua and I got to run over to Everest and ride together (a rare treat with the little ones…we’re thinking about coming out a few days before the kids join us next year…Grandma will watch them and then fly down after Joshua and I have a few “just us” days). We met back up at Kali because it was starting to get pretty hot and the lines weren’t too bad.
Just after noon, we headed to Epcot so we could make our late lunch reservation at Le Cellier. Before we could check in, we shopped around Canada and Benjamin and cousin Abby each got personalized leather bracelets. Le Cellier was wonderful, as always.
With our late lunch finished, we made our way counter-clockwise around World Showcase…stopping here and there for a couple pics and souvenirs.
As we came to the last Agent P station, we got our last assignment, China-which we requested so we could continue our counter-clockwise tour of the World Showcase. China was our third and final adventure and our favorite. We did Japan (which was also pretty cool) and the UK (not as much fun, in our opinion) earlier in the trip. Next year, if it’s still around and the kids are interested, we want to try the adventure in the French pavilion…we saw some others doing it and it looked fun.
We finished up at World Showcase and made our way to Hollywood Studios for Fantasmic. The rest of our family had reservations at Magic Kingdom for dessert and Wishes at the Tomorrowland Terrace. Since we got to Hollywood Studios with plenty of time, we did R&R a couple of times and then headed in for seats. Joshua isn’t a fan of crowds and so we usually try to sit in the back. After the show, we retrieved our stroller and headed back to the resort.
After a solid week of park hopping and almost no time in the stroller, our four year old was wiped out. (side note: I love my stroller…it’s a Britax B-Ready and I highly recommend it because it can be a single or a double depending on whether you add the 2nd toddler seat…it’s great for stuff like this because our four year old doesn’t need a stroller at home ever but at the end of the day at Disney, it helped!)
