OOPS
PS to Day 2>
On our way back to the resort from Epcot, my aunt sent us a text that they were at Hollywood Studios and we should meet up so they could watch the kiddos and Joshua and I could ride a couple things together. Mostly, we just took turns doing R&R and ToT…which our son begged and begged to ride. We didn’t want his first time to be at night because we were sure it would be scarier to him than in the day but he insisted so we relented and he hated it. Like “I never want to do that again” hated it. Thankfully Grandma wasn’t there yet so we managed to get him to agree to ride it again…during the day…with Grandma. So that was actually the end of day 2.
Day 3
Day 3 started off as a resort day. We dropped off our son and cousin Abby at the marina for the Pirate Cruise Adventure. If you haven’t heard of it before it’s a two hour pirate voyage for kids 4-12. They travel from marina to marina gathering bits of a treasure map and piecing it together. Both Benjamin who’s a typical crazy 4 year old boy and Abby who is a rather shy 8 year old loved the adventure.
While they were off having a grand time, Joshua and I walked around the resort a bit and enjoyed some time at the pool. I must say, I was disappointed in the “beaches” at Caribbean Beach Resort.
I knew swimming wasn’t allowed and I wasn’t surprised at the green-ish hue of it…it actually looked pretty gross but the beaches themselves were TINY and were FULL of sand fleas. I walked away from 15 minutes of playing in the sand with at least 8 bites on my feet. The hammocks were pretty much the only nice thing but I can’t imagine there would be any available during the busier times of the year.
Once we collected our little pirate, we headed to Hollywood Studios for lunch at Pizza Planet since our son loves all things Toy Story and he had hit that ever important 40 inch mark for Star Tours.
Benjamin asked to do the Jedi Training Academy experience but since that day was booked and Grandma had requested we wait until she arrive, we assured him we would go back for it in a couple days. In the meantime, he rode Star Tours 3 times (and was the Rebel Spy twice) and had a blast. We did a few of the other attractions like Muppets, the meet and greet with Jake, Disney Playhouse Show and the single rider Rock n Roller Coaster for Joshua and I but we didn’t stay in Hollywood Studios long because we had a very special princess dinner in Norway to get to.
We arrived at Epcot a little early which was great because our little princess needed a cat nap before dinner which she took…
She woke up just in time for us to check in and get into line for our seating. PS>her shoes squeaked too because you just can’t have too much cuteness at once.
Turns out…our princess isn’t very fond of real Disney Princesses…at least not yet…
After dinner, we let the boy do the “new” Agent P Adventure for the first of what would end up being 3 times during this trip. A couple of us did the wine walk…the entire walk in one night…we know better but we did it anyway and then found a spot with the family to end the night with IllumiNations.
